Our New Mexico registered

price: $99 per year. If you are paying two to three times this; or

Here
are some facts you should know about a registered agent in New Mexico:
"registered
agent," "statutory agent" and "resident agent"
are three names for the same thing: an agent authorized by a company
to receive documents and notices. (Since the three terms all refer
to a Resident
of the state acting as an AGENT,
we have coined the term "ragent" to include them
all). Unfortunately we couldn't work "statutory" into the
acronym, but the meaning is similar. Some states just like to stress
the mandate of law over residence and registration.
Your New Mexico
"ragent" may be (1) a domestic company formed under New
Mexico corporate law (2) a foreign corporation authorized to transact
business in New Mexico or (3) an adult individual who resides in New
Mexico. In New Mexico both an LLC and a partnership may be a registered
agent if they were formed under New Mexico law or are authorized to
transact business in New Mexico.
It is important
to note that a New Mexico registered agent must have a New Mexico
street address rather than a post office box and that the registered
agent must sign a consent to be registered agent and file it
with the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission(PRC). If the registered
agent's registered office lies outside a municipality where a street
address does not exist, then there must be a geographical description
of a physical location.
