MICHIGAN RESIDENT AGENT:

ATTORNEY IN FACT for

SERVICE OF PROCESS

E-mail our Michigan resident agent (registered agent), order online or call us at 1-800-669-9805. We'll give you further information and/or arrange for service immediately. We can also arrange to start service when your current registered agent's term expires.

Whatever your choice, you can expect our Michigan resident agent to provide quality service at a reasonable price: $99 per year. You may currently be paying more or you may be disappointed in your current registered agent. We want you know that you can fully comply with Michigan laws which require a resident agent and a registered office. You can do so without overpaying or sacrificing quality and dependability.

We have founded . Conceived by an experienced statutory agent and seasoned corporate lawyer, this association has developed into a national network of practicing lawyers throughout the US. We administer dependable registered agent, statutory agent, and resident agent service everywhere, plus other corporate and legal services, e.g. trademarks and service marks. To be sure Alaska, Hawaii and DC are included.

Some facts you should know about an attorney in fact (registered agent) in Michigan:

"registered agent," "statutory agent" and "resident agent" are three names for the same thing: an agent authorized by a company to receive documents and notices. (Since the three terms all refer to a Resident of the state acting as an AGENT, we have coined the term "ragent" to include them all). We haven't found a way to include" statutory" or "attorney in fact" in our acronym.

Your "ragent" in The Wolverine State must be either (1) a domestic company formed under Michigan corporate law (2) a foreign corporation authorized to transact business in Michigan or (3) an adult individual who resides in Michigan. Michigan does not permit a limited liability company or partnership, whether formed in Michigan or qualified to do business in Michigan, to act as a resident agent in Michigan. We do not recommend an amateur for the role of registered agent.

It is important to note that a Michigan registered agent must have a Michigan street address rather than a post office box .

APPOINTING A NEW MICHIGAN RESIDENT AGENT

We welcome newly formed companies, as well as companies previously formed who presently have an overpriced resident agent, or a registered agent whose quality and dependability may be open to question. A company which desires to change its existing resident agent in Michigan may do so at any time by completing a change of Michigan resident agent and registered office form and submitting it to the Michigan Bureau of Commercial Services.

When you order online, we handle filling out this form and sending it to you for signature. Upon its return (signed) to us we will take care of filing this form, and we will also pay the fee which must be paid to the Michigan Bureau of Commercial Services.

Another option has you signing the form first and sending it to us so that we may complete and file it with the Michigan Bureau of Commercial Services, along with the filing fee. The change of Michigan resident agent and registered office form can be found at http://www.dleg.state.mi.us/bcsc/forms/corp/corp/520.pdf. Just sign it and send it to us and we will take care of the rest.

Remember, if your present agent is prepaid for a period of time, you can instruct us not to make the change until that period of time has expired.
